Location was great for me because I was visiting family in the area. Room was lovely, extremely spacious with air con which was easy to control and very welcome. Staff were all helpful and friendly, breakfast offered a very good choice and gave us a good start to the day

Pleasant dining and bar areas and outside patio and courtyard garden. Loved the artwork everywhere - pictures/paintings on the walls etc. Plenty of Car Parking space. The bedrooms were particularly well equipped/ appointed. For an elderly couple - there is an armchair each, as well as a desk chair. The double bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities - some biscuits would be a nice addition. Plenty of hanging space and drawers too. Additionally, there is a separate cupboard with an iron and ironing board. A decent shelf on which to put one’s suitcase. (A folding support for the 2nd person’s bag/ suitcase could be useful). A pleasant outlook onto the courtyard garden - it would be lovely to see some water feature(s) in it! The bathroom was particularly good - hooks for clothes, both a bath and a separate shower. Two sets of towel rails. Useful shelving to put one’s toiletries etc. on. Very good lighting (as also in the bedroom, including good bedside lights - so that one can easily read in bed). The only thing that was missing was a safe for valuables.

Travelling with 3 small children. Hotel staff were execellent and very helpful, location was great for Chineham centre, swimming pool was good for children. Fan hidden in wardrobe was an excellent find, given that the room got very hot during our stay!

Breakfast was full buffet, which is lovely now covid is less restrictive and you can help yourself again to cooked items Room and balcony were perfect with a dog bed and bowl for our pooch, thank you Swimming pools and gym facilities are excellent, a little surprised to find children's swimming classes Friday morning but that meant I got the adult pool all to myself...bliss All staff polite and helpful

Most areas disabled friendly. Adapted rooms, easy access to pool, changing rooms and courtyard though have go through bar as other areas to courtyard have a lip on door frame. Large reception, adequate facilities snd friendly staff.

It was all very easy and efficient to book, check in and use all the facilities. Pretty much all the staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was really good. We had everything we needed there and really enjoyed our stay. I actually left some clothes behind by accident and the hotel went above and beyond what I expected to get them delivered back to me, very impressed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant and bar area. Very dog friendly, even a dog bed and bowl in the room. Room was a good size, though a little dated. Good car parking.

As we travelled with a Toddler and a Dog our room was big enough to fit us all in and we really appreciated having that extra space - all was set up when we arrived.

Everything from the moment we walked in the door. We were met by a happy smiling friendly lady called Cheryl at the reception and then everyone was amazing. Staff couldn't do enough for us. They were helpful, courteous and kind. Every where was spotlessly clean, Food was perfect so we're the facilities. I will make another booking and fully recommend Hampshire Hotel and Spa to everyone I know. Thank you for making my time with my daughter really special, perfect weekend, precious memories.
